Georgian Area Labour Councils Educational

The Georgian area labour councils are partnering with the Worker’s Health and Safety Centre and Occupational Disability Response Team to offer a health, safety and worker’s compensation training school. The event is scheduled to begin the evening of September 17 through Sunday September 21, 2014. Workshops will be presented at the Collingwood Royal Canadian Legion and include WHSC level I Occupational Health and Safety and ODRT’s level I & II Compensation Essentials. This educational experience is designed to build capacity of workers and their representatives to promote healthier, safer and accommodating workplaces and assist injured workers in securing just compensation.
