Occupational Disease – Toronto

springwebad2015This week-long workshop will explore the  impact of occupational disease, legal test and medical standards for causation, legal principles used in appeals and the significance of apportionment. Participants will examine different types of studies, how data is analyzed and what to look for when assessing a study. They will review toxicology and its significance and how to examine an expert witness. The Industrial Disease Panel and adjudication process are reviewed along with risk factors, diagnostic testing and causal links for occupational diseases using WSIA policies and WSIAT decisions. This course has limited seating so book early to secure a spot.
