DESCRIPTION:Principles of Accommodation Law In-Person Training\, October 24\, 2026 in Timmins \nWith a focus on the protected ground of disability and the social area of employment\, this workshop will advance a participant’s understanding of human rights legislation. We will explore definitions of discrimination\, outline the requirements for requesting and responding to accommodation needs\, and examine what constitutes “undue hardship.” \nDEADLINE TO REGISTER:  October 7\, 2026\nClass time: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm\nCost: $169.00 (Includes lunch)\nWhere: OPSEU/SEFPO Timmins Membership Centre\n414 Algonquin Boulevard East\, Unit 1\, Timmins\, ON P4N 1B6 \n  \nPREVENTION LINK BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY: \nCourse numbers are limited to ensure a quality learning experience for all participants. Places are allocated in order of receipt of registration form. Written cancellation received 10 working days prior to the first day of training are subject to a 25% administration charge. Cancellations received thereafter are refunded at 50% of the registration fee. \nPrevention Link may cancel any training session at any time and a full refund will be issued. Every effort will be made to ensure that registrants of a cancelled course are placed in the next available course.
