December 2, 2014 @ 9:00 am - December 3, 2014 @ 12:30 pm

$215

This 1.5 day composite course includes sessions on The Disability Dilemma and Disability Prevention Strategies. Participants will examine the impact of work injury and disability, on injured workers, their families, employers, unions, government, workplace insurance and health care providers. They will discuss ways that workplaces can achieve a strategic fit with legal requirements and best practices for return to work. Participants will also examine the need to shift the paradigm from viewing occupational disability as a weakness and threat to seeing it as an opportunity to make workplaces safer and more productive.

The workshop will take place in the Portsmouth Room.
